Vatech Academy is a custom-built digital learning platform designed to support professional training in the dental and medical technology sector. The platform centralises educational content, in-person and online training sessions, and instructor-led courses into a single, scalable system.
The project required full ownership of both the user experience and the technical implementation, ensuring clarity, performance and long-term flexibility without relying on third-party LMS solutions.
Key Constraints & Needs
Coordinating training availability across locations and schedules required a clear spatial and temporal system.
The platform was designed from scratch to support a complex educational ecosystem, requiring a clear structure from day one.
Key requirements included:
• Structuring complex technical and educational content into intuitive learning flows
• Supporting multiple user profiles with different responsibilities and levels of expertise
• Coordinating training sessions across locations and schedules
• Enabling long-term scalability for courses, instructors and content

To achieve this, the solution had to be fully custom-built, avoiding the limitations of generic learning management systems.
Design & Technical Approach
The platform was designed and built as a custom learning environment, combining UX/UI design principles with hands-on front-end implementation.
From a design perspective, the focus was placed on:
• Clear information architecture and content hierarchy
• Progressive disclosure to improve comprehension of long-form educational material
• Visual clarity and rhythm to support learning sessions

From a technical standpoint, the platform was implemented using custom HTML, CSS and JavaScript, with direct management of hosting and deployment through Plesk and FileZilla. This approach ensured full control over performance, structure and scalability, allowing the platform to evolve alongside future educational needs.
Role-based dashboards for students and instructors, combining UX clarity with front-end logic, data control, and scalable platform architecture.
